The BrainCap is a result of this policy as it makes the preparation time very fast and assures high subject comfort as well as high-quality data recordings.

BrainCap at a glance:

  • BrainCap is a fully customizable cap with up to 256 channels and high-quality Ag/AgCl sensors.
  • Electrodes are fixed to the cap and extremely flat which makes this cap very comfortable for the participant (e.g. avoiding excessive pressure onto the scalp, even in sleep studies during which the participant lies on the electrodes.).
  • Specially designed electrodes for the co-registration of EEG/fMRI (BrainCap MR), EEG/TMS (BrainCap TMS) and EEG/MEG (BrainCap MEG) are available.
  • BrainCap is extremely robust, as well as easy and fast to clean.
