Our Introduction to simultaneous EEG-fMRI workshop will lead you through the topics essential to setting up an EEG-fMRI study. We will cover the technical background, safety, installing the system, and handling scanner related artifacts in the EEG data – including a selection of smaller group break out sessions on an area of data handling that is most relevant to your research.
The workshop is designed for researchers who are new to this topic and those who already have some experience with EEG-fMRI and would like to consolidate their existing knowledge.
To this end, we also want to make our workshop more than just a series of lectures but an opportunity for an open and interactive exchange. Which is why day 1 includes an online lunch symposium where we invite you to introduce your research to, or ask questions of, both our presenters and the workshop group in a more informal format.
The overall aims of our workshops are to improve the quality of your research, improve your skills as an EEG scientist, and help you to grow your scientific network.
