SUMMARY:Workshop - Simultaneous EEG-fMRI: from theory to practice
DESCRIPTION:The first official Brain Products Academy workshop in the US will be “Simultaneous EEG-fMRI: from theory to practice” held in Atlanta\, GA! \nThis workshop will provide a comprehensive introduction to simultaneous EEG-fMRI measurements. Over three days we will introduce both modalities and the benefits of combining them. In addition\, we will explain the technical and safety related aspects of simultaneous EEG-fMRI and how to process the EEG data. We will cover the following main topics: \n\nTheoretical background of combining the two signals\nTechnical and safety related aspects of performing EEG-fMRI measurements\nData processing\nHandling scanner-related artifacts in the EEG data\n\nBrain Products Application Specialists for EEG-fMRI will be joined by Scientific Consultants from Brain Vision LLC to teach this workshop. \nThe workshop is designed for researchers who are new to this application as well as those who already have some experience with EEG-fMRI and would like to consolidate their existing knowledge. \nThe overall aims of Brain Products Academy workshops are to improve the quality of your research\, improve your skills as an EEG scientist\, and help you to grow your scientific network. \nTake a look at the workshop agenda to see the various sessions in more detail and learn how we will achieve this.
